yeah mate we were pretty active for a while there, BF2 was pretty fun but hackers/otherlives drove us away, I for one do hope that as some point we'll all return for a few rounds of BF2.

Hey Gibster would it really be worth my while gettting a $10 copy of BF2 and installing it and learning how to play.

Is that what the majority of DS gus still play on the odd occaision?

BF2 is worth it in my opinion, even if you don't game a lot with the clan. I just love the gameplay, as a lone wolf or within a squad or as a commander. Of course, the online community is starting to slow down now. But still way more active than Farcry 1 was prior to it's demise.

It can be a frustrating game to learn though. Sometimes hard to actually hit and kill people, and that's when you're not being hit by choppers, jets and artillery! Playing Infantry Only (IO) maps are an easier transition from other FPS games, but you miss out on the fun of tanks, APC's etc.

My stats are saying I've clocked up almost 500 hours of gametime, which put's it right up there with my all-time favourite games.

just a couple of names there......hmmm fun times.....the big split (i still think this was the final nail in the ol fc coffin).....more fun times.....ahhh bf2 maybe oneday i shall re-install these beasts, just cant throw out 8 hrs a day on them or any other game for that matter. so many new games just dissapoint me with shit gameplay or the morphing of good games or ideas making them shit....
