Farewell from Jase

Postby Jase on January 22nd, 2010, 4:04 pm

Hi guys,

You've probably noticed that I haven't been active on this forum for a while - or perhaps you haven't noticed?

Since the arrival of my baby girl four months ago I have been a tad busy, and work has had it's fair share of moments too. I'm also about to kick off another semester of part time uni study. This is leaving very close to zero time for chatting in this forum or actually playing games.

Therefore, the time has come to say goodbye. I have truly enjoyed my time with you guys, and still have many fond memories of our clan gaming prowess with Far Cry and BF2. Thankyou to Trog for inviting me into the fray, and thanks to all of you for your humour and good times.

I hope the clan finds that missing link to get back to it's former glory

All the best

Jase (master class Far Cry engie and all round good guy)

Hi Jase, all the very best m8 and enjoy and move on forward brother. Please drop in when you get 30 seconds to just say get stuffed or something endearing like that? You and I got in to the FC 1 about the same time I recall and I recall a time when you gave me some shit too (all good humour) when I was clan less? I've enjoyed the online and odd PM banter over the years, but real life must take precedent over this.

Take care, and all the very best to you and your family. "And savour Uni."

Thanks CC,

Yes, I've certainly enjoyed my time with this group. I still recall a game of Far Cry when I was getting thoroughly thrashed by some clown called "[DS] Trogstar". If I recall correctly, I finally managed to take him down a few times (beware the flying wrench!), and we got chatting and he invited me to check out the clan. And that's when I joined up, right in the midst of a number of inter-clan scrims which were a heap of fun.

And I course I couldn't forget my old mate Zip and some of the BF2 antics we've been up to. For a while there I was playing BF2 pretty heavily and always seemed to run into Zip. Good times, and it certainly helped me to hone my tea-bagging skills.

Enjoy...

Good on ya Jase, we have noticed that you have been quite quiet lately. Thanks for gracing us with your presence. I know how quikly life can consume our time, and lets face it, life comes first. All the best with your young family and career and UNI etc. I'm sure we all hold those old farcry and BF2 days in high esteem. Thanks for being a part of it with us mate.

Cheers, zac.

Dammit, reality takes another victim...

But seriously Jase, didnt chat to you very often, but you seemed like a decent enough bloke. Good luck with the family and Uni, and hope to catch you round in the future sometime.

Cheers;

Jase

I only ever got involved in one organised scrim, we kicked to Death by the boys from YnG.. I recall Trog not wanting to get involved in that scrim due to not seeing eye to eye with some of the players. That was the only thing I really remember of my one and only scrim.

Why not organize a scrim against the FB blokes?
